Job Summary:
The E-commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process within the E-commerce department. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The E-commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist will collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing, inventory management, and effective communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and manage customer orders received through various E-commerce platforms.
2. Verify order accuracy by reviewing product details, pricing, quantities, and shipping addresses.
3. Prepare orders for shipment by carefully picking, packing, and labeling items.
4. Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely product availability for order fulfillment.
5. Coordinate with the Shipping team to arrange timely and cost-effective shipping methods.
6. Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation for both domestic and international shipments.
7. Maintain accurate records of shipped orders, tracking numbers, and customer information.
8. Update the E-commerce platform with order status, tracking details, and any necessary customer notifications.
9. Monitor and address customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and product availability.
10. Identify and resolve order-related issues, including discrepancies, damages, and returns.
11. Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve customer complaints and provide exceptional service.
12. Assist in optimizing the order fulfillment process by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting efficient solutions.
13. Stay updated with industry trends, shipping regulations, and best practices to enhance order fulfillment operations.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and data protection regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in E-commerce order fulfillment or a similar role.
3. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
4. Proficient in using E-commerce platforms and order management systems.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
9. Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation.
10. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
11. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
12. Strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
